We had an absolutely unreal day out with Murray from Jackson Bay Charters. From start to finish, it was next-level.
We pulled up paua and kina, landed snapper and blue cod, crayfish, and even spotted a giant kingfish chasing our lure. As if that wasn’t enough, we swam with a seal, one of those bucket-list moments you don’t forget.
What really sets Murray apart though is the kind of person he is, pure Aloha spirit. We accidentally lost a speargun during the trip (which felt pretty devastating at the time), and without hesitation he went back out the next day to try to find it with scuba gear. That is not an easy thing to do in those conditions, and he did it anyway. If that wasn't enough when he couldn't find it he posted about it online and someone had found it before he dove and returned it. That level of effort and integrity says everything.
He knows these waters inside and out, keeps things safe and relaxed, and genuinely wants you to have an epic experience. The trip was something we will remember forever! Mahalo Nui Loa
